What is SkinTyte?

Moderate Skin Tightening without the need for risky surgery.
The SkinTyte treatment is based on the principle of "selective thermolysis"
and utilizes the Sciton BBL platform. Selective Thermolysis speaks to our
ability to target specific areas of our skin with energy and heat while leaving
surrounding areas unaffected.

The SkinTyte technology delivers a wavelength of pulsed light energy deep
into the skin while cooling and protecting the entire treated surface.

How does SkinTyte Work?

The SkinTyte procedure uses a Broadband of Light (BBL) energy selected to
deeply heat dermal collagen. This heating process promotes collagen
retraction which promotes the tightening of the skin. The deep heat also
initiates the body's natural healing process which regenerates the collagen
foundation restoring loose skin to tightened skin

What is the treatment like?

The SkinTyte delivers its energy in a series of rapid, gentle pulses.
Generally, there is no need for a topical anesthetic, but your physician may
elect to use one for added comfort. A series of pulses will be repeated over a
treatment area to ensure the best results.

What should I expect after treatment?

There may be some mild redness immediately after, this should return to
normal within minutes. The SkinTyte procedure is non-invasive allowing you
to resume normal activities immediately following treatment.

What areas can be treated?

SkinTyte is safe for all skin types and can be performed on any area of the
body where there is loose skin and an improvement in skin firmness is
desired. Popular Areas Include: Face, Neck, Hands, Chest, Abdomen and
arms.

How many treatments will I need?

Typically a series of 4-5 sessions are required spaced a month apart.
Individual consultations will determine what is right for you.

What aftercare do I need?

No special aftercare is required, although the use of a sunscreen is
recommended.
